Dr. Lesley Barlow
Founder and Clinical Director, PsyD
Sees parents during pregnancy and in the first year after a birth, one at a time and at a pace they set.
Lesley started Quell to give pregnant and postpartum parents a place where the first conversation is easy to begin. Sessions are built around cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness skills, explained before they are used, and around the real shape of a week with a baby.
She is trained in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International and leads the clinical side of the practice.

How Lesley works
Lesley begins by asking what the week looks like, who is helping and what is hardest right now. Sessions can be in the office or on video, and a baby is welcome in either.
What Lesley works on
Pregnancy
Time to say out loud what the pregnancy is bringing up, whether that is worry about the birth, about work or about the person you are becoming.
The first year
Sessions fit around feeds and naps, with a plan for the days between that you set together.
Going back to work
Talking through the return before it happens, and adjusting after it does.
