Roland Davenport
Couples and Partner Therapist, LMFT
Sees partners on their own, and couples through the first year with a baby.
Roland works with the person on the other side of a pregnancy or birth, who is often asked how the baby is and rarely how they are. He also sees couples, using communication and problem-solving skills for the arguments that sleepless weeks bring.
He is trained in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International.

How Roland works
Roland keeps sessions practical: what happened this week, what to try before the next one, and what can wait.
What Roland works on
Partners
A place to say how you are doing, apart from the baby and the person who gave birth.
Couples
Sessions of 75 minutes for two, aimed at the conversations that go wrong at 3 a.m.
Dividing the work
Working out who does what in a way you can both live with.
